Resorts World Manila Presents: CINDERELLA

Who would not know Cinderella? We all grew up reading books about fairy tales and all of them have their very own happy ending, with every story there’s a lesson learned about life, love and happiness. Cinderella is one magical tale, a classic sample of someone who experienced suffering but was very positive about life and towards the end she had her Prince and they lived happily ever after.

Imagine this classical bedtime story come alive? Yes! Resorts World Manila presents a Rodgers and Hammerstein Musical, CINDERELLA at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.  The Press preview had a 20-minute run of the magical stage, the performers, costumes and what will kids and kids at heart expect when it starts to show on October 9, 2013. Cinderella will surely be one of the most enchanting show RWM could have so don’t forget to mark your calendars and save the date.

Leading the cast as Cinderella is Karylle Tatlonghari, with Julia Abueva and Justine Pena as alternates. The ever charming Prince Christopher will be played by Christian Bautista, and Fred Lo as his alternate. They already made names on their own, but now with Cinderella they will surely make a mark as a team.

Support cast is just as important as the lead roles. First Lady of Philippine Musical Theater, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, will once a again step into the enchanting stage of NPAT, this time to play the role of the ever-reliable Fairy Godmother. Also joining the all-Filipino ensemble are Pinky Marquez, Sweet Plantado, Sheila Franciso,Miguel Faustmann, Maronne Cruz, Gianina Ocampo, and Red Concepcion.

Resorts World Manila’s Cinderella is under the direction of veteran theatre actor and director Michael Williams.
