THREE of today’s hottest and busiest stars – Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay and Andi Eigenmann – figure in a sizzling, dramatic tale of love, lust and deceit in Viva Films’ upcoming release, “A Secret Affair”. The movie, showing on October 24, is the highly anticipated follow-up to last year's blockbuster "No Other Woman", which still stands as the highest grossing Filipino dramatic movie of all time.
That film established the tandem of Anne and Derek as a bankable movie pair. "A Secret Affair" reunites the two stars, but this time as the couple whose relationship is seriously challenged with the intrusion of a third party, played by Andi.
The movie has all the elements that made “No Other Woman” such a phenomenon---a great-looking cast, an engaging story, memorable dialogue peppered with quotable quotes, beautiful locations, and the trademark gloss of classic VIVA melodramas. But it's even sexier and more stylish, with more lavish sets and eye-popping production values. It's also bigger in scope as it touches on family and friendship.
Both Anne and Andi play strong, feisty characters but with different sensibilities molded by their family backgrounds and situations. The movie is also even more contemporary, as it shows how relationships are shaped by new media these days.
