Photos and videos of matinee idol John Lloyd Cruz have been surfacing after being on hiatus from the showbusiness since 2017.

Cruz, one of the most bankable actors of the Philippine cinema and very effective endorser once again proved that his fans are still waiting for his return. In a teaser video, which lasted only for a few seconds and only shows the back shot of Cruz’s, and posted in the Facebook page of the number one selling shawarma Turks a few weeks ago had been viewed 3.2M times, shared almost 800 times and gained a huge number of comments.

Without any clue in that teaser video, his fans already assumed that it was him in the video. Actress Bea Alonzo on her Instagram also posted a screenshot of that teaser video, which garnered almost a million likes.

This Monday morning Turks finally revealed in the 1-minute and 17 seconds video of Cruz showing the actor walking through different destinations, which somehow depicts Cruz’s sojourn. The video is very simple, yet there’s drama the way it was created, and in a very subtle shot, he stopped and took a bite of a Turks pita donner.

The rugged look of Cruz in the Turks video titled Ang Pagbabalik is way too far from his guy-next-door image and a lot of people in the industry are asking if this signals his return to the limelight. His fans are still wondering about the life he’s been living since his hiatus.

According to Turks president Gem L. Zenarosa that during the course of his talks with Cruz, they never talked anything about his showbiz career or plans. He added that he got Mr. Cruz as the latest ambassador of Turks because of his great confidence working with Cruz.

“I am really grateful that John Lloyd trusts our company, he is a brilliant and very creative young man. Aside from acting we have discovered some of his remarkable talents,” Zenarosa stressed.

The Ang Pagbabalik according to Zenarosa is actually about Turks Small Pita Doner, which will be available again in all its branches.

“John Lloyd is the best endorser for this because like him, despite his absence in the showbusiness for a couple of years, the warmth and love of his fans for him never dwindles. With our Small Pita Doner we believe that our customers will be happy to know that it is back in our menu,” Zenarosa explained.

Just like Cruz who is seen to have a different image since he last appeared in the big screen, a clear indication that the actor is recreating himslef and exploring different grounds, Turks is also doing the same thing to keep its customers excited whenever they visit a branch.

In  time for the release of Cruz's endorsement video, Turks also released to the market its newest offering --- Turks Rice Bowl, which is a complete meal. You can choose beef or chicken for your rice topping, and it is priced at P50. The Small Pita Donner on the other hand, is priced at P35.

"To keep up with the demands of our customers, Turks continues to improve our menu and offerings to satisfy the discriminating taste of our loyal patrons," Zenarosa stressed.

John Lloyd Cruz now joins the roster of endorsers of Turks such as Piolo and Inigo Pascual.

ALIF (Ang Laban ng Indiginong Filipino) Partylist has cemented ties with a networking company who will also be representing the group this May elections.

Nominees Agakhan Tomawis and Lorenzo Rellosa met with top leaders of  Telepreneur Corporation, a multi-level  marketing company, to solidify support for ALIF. Telepreneur has three million members nationwide.

The Party
ALIF Partylist is an organization devoted to serving Filipinos through providing livelihood programs and spreading technology and connectivity to far-fetched areas. ALIF also aspires to empower the indigenous sector and its families by providing access to government funds and programs that preserve heritage and culture. These programs promote sustainable livelihood that has socio-economic impact in their respective areas.

Collaboration with Telepreneur
This year, ALIF Partylist forged an alliance with Telepreneur Corporation, a seven-year-old multi-level marketing company serving the need for mobile phone load requirement for all networks.  Telepreneuer’s President and CEO Lorenzo Rellosa is the second nominee for ALIF.

Rellosa explains his motivations for running. "You and I, we are the modern indigenous Filipinos," he explains. "Tayong mga lumalaban sa buhay, tayong mga hindi sumusuko, tayong mga nagmamahal sa bayan. Tayo ang mga modernong indigino. Gagawin ko ang lahat para isulong ang kabuhayan at kinabukasan ng ating mga kapatid na indigino."

With his position and accomplishments, Rellosa is determined to help the indigenuous people. His career has been an impressive one, and a source of inspiration to many.  Today, he is Telepreneur’s CEO and President with an annual gross sale of Php 4B and with a membership base of three million Filipinos. Rellosa also came from a political family, grandfather, Emeterio Rellosa, having served as a provincial board member in the early 1960’s to 1970’s in the province of Laguna. His father, Luis Rellosa, has served the town of Famy, Laguna as a municipal mayor from 1968-1980.  Lorenz grew up in an environment of honest public service, whole heartedly advocating livelihood and educational projects for their constituents.

ALIF's Founder
As for the founder of ALIF itself, Acmad Maruhom Tomawis organized the party in Marawi City in February 2003, after a series of consultations and meetings  with leaders of the indigenous cultural communities, including Muslim Filipinos. ALIF seeks to represent the marginalized and underrepresented sector of the indigenous groups particularly in Mindanao.

Tomawis started his political career in 1976 as a councilor of Marawi City. During the Martial Law era, he was appointed as mayor of the city in 1978. He then became assemblyman from 1982 to 1996. During the Estrada administration, he was appointed as the Executive Director in the Office of the Muslim Affairs from 1998 until 2001. Edgardo Angara, founder of the Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino (LDP) party encouraged him to create the partylist for the underrepresented sector of the Maranao tribe in Mindanao. In 2003, Tomawis founded ALIF together with indigenous leaders in his community in Marawi. He served in the House of Representatives from 2004 until 2013.

Today, Tomawis is still believed to be one of the most influential leaders in Mindanao, the leader trusted to bring back the peace and unity especially after the Marawi Siege, a five-month battle against the terrorists in Marawi. ALIF aims to reach out not only to the Mindanao tribes alone, but also to other underrepresented tribes all over the country.

As a former member of the legislative sector, Tomawis believes that the next decade is a critical period for our nation. Aside from completing the unfinished tasks of the present house representatives, Tomawis emphasizes continuing peace talks with the Muslim insurgencies and providing sustainable livelihood and quality education to his community. Tomawis believes that his vision of shaping the lives of indigenous people will be made possible through his partnership with Rellosa. Together, their tandem plans on advancing through technology while preserving the rich cultural heritage of the indigenous groups that can ultimately raise the quality of life in Mindanao.

Tomorrow, with our help, they may be elected as congressmen, representing ALIF Partylist, and advocating for a better life for 100 million Filipinos.

Mobile photography is no longer limited to food shots and selfies. These days, even
professional photographers rely heavily on their smartphones when capturing images that
evoke a lot of emotions.

A photo is a great way to communicate a message or even just to
update loved ones of a recent trip. It may seem such a waste when an extraordinary location is not properly photographed. It's almost an injustice if the colours of a beautiful garden are either too bright or overexposed. One doesn't have to break the bank to get professional-grade images.

The Vivo V15 Pro's 48MP Triple Rear Camera addresses photography issues such as exposure,
lowlight conditions, and sharpness, among others. The camera’s AI (artificial intelligence)
component elevates mobile photography experience to the next level with its 12MP standard
+ 8MP super wide-angle + 5MP depth-sensing camera setup. With its 48 Million Quad Pixel Sensor, the Vivo V15 Pro offers photography enthusiasts more than just stunning photos. It is almost certain that the photograph will have a crispier and more natural-looking image compared to those taken with lower megapixels.

In travel photography, landscape photos are a must. No portfolio is complete without a shot
of the horizon or breathtaking flower fields. Mobile photographers can rely on Vivo V15 Pro's
8MP AI Super Wide-Angle Camera to do the job. Users don't have to change lenses depending
on the need of the shot. Just press on the feature and it is ready to immortalise an image. The
AI Super Wide-Angle Camera can expand up to 120 degrees, capturing more people and fuller
landscape shots. The 5MP Depth Depth-Sensing Camera will add more drama and effects on the captured image.

To deliver high-quality 12MP images, the Vivo V15 Pro's main rear camera has a 4-in-1 pixel
technology. It means that one large pixel is combined with four pixels so that even in low
light or even dark conditions, the images will still come out better. With its Professional Mode feature, the Vivo V15 Pro can pretty much do the work of DSLR cameras.

Users who want to learn photography can practice by enabling the smartphone's Pro Mode
capabilities. Adjust the aperture when taking a photo in dark or confined spaces such as
hotels or function rooms. Test how the shutter speed works by adjusting it when taking a
photograph of a race or moving vehicles. One can also play with the Manual Feature when
taking photos of a city skyline — at night.

However, there is Vivo V15 Pro's AI Super Night Mode that can take multiple photos at
different exposures. The finished product is a stunning combination of these shots. Night scenes are difficult to shoot, but through this feature, anyone can achieve a clear and beautiful night scene. This enables images taken with the Vivo V15 Pro to be used in other platforms and not only for social media posts.

Still, for Instagrammers who like sharing their photographs to family and friends and feel
limited by the available editing features, the Vivo V15 Pro's Editing Features can help them
achieve just the right amount of brightness, contrast, or even saturation in their images.

Limited time offer
Those who want to get the Vivo V15 Pro for its AI camera technology are in for a treat as Vivo
is also giving away a set of exclusive perks for those who make advance orders of its latest
flagship smartphone.

Customers who pre-order the V15 Pro online until April 11 can score a JBL Clip 3 portable
Bluetooth speaker, an extended 6 months phone warranty and can also avail of a screen
protection warranty, wherein they will only need to pay P500 to have their damaged or
broken screens replaced within 6 months from receiving their pre-ordered units. To pre-order
the Vivo V15 Pro today, visit https://vivoglobal.ph/v15preorder/.
The V15 Pro will be available in the local market starting April 12. Vivo will offer the
smartphone at 0% interest, thru 6-9 months installment payments using major credit cards
and Home Credit, at all participating stores nationwide.

This year though coach Yeng is running for a Congressional post at the 1st District of Pampanga in the coming May elections. He already served the province back in 2004 as their Vice Governor and was also a Congressman having served Pampanga from 2013 to 2016.

Coach Yeng would like to focus more on Education, Health and of course Sports when
given the chance to have a seat at Congress in this years' election.

We were also joined by NLEX Road Warriors' Asi Taulava and Kieffer Ravena who gave a few words and their full support for Coach Yeng. Goodluck coach!
