I was invited by St. Peter Life Plans (yes the one with a cute pink casket as a photobooth) to try out the Breakout Philippines challenge. I’ve been seeing posts from friends who already tried the game rooms so I got excited. Aside from the excitement, I was nervous because we were told that we will be doing the “Corpse Bride” room, oooh halloween! We were also advised that there’s a scary factor that can happen inside (may mananakot shocks!) 
But after a few minutes we were advised that we’ll just be doing “The Island” - no scarry factor yay, but it was their most difficult room to escape, level 5! Just because we wanted to escape the Corpse Bride room, we settled for hardest one and we didn’t have a choice either since that is the room available for our time slot.

So on to the game, no pictures and all, as in nothing because our bags were left at the lobby lockers and it was secured. I thought we’d be entering a big room but it wasn’t, we were six in the team and we were all giggling looking for clues in a small square room. I can’t tell the full details because it might destroy your excitement if ever you will try the game. 

And speaking of trying the game, St. Peter Chapels had partnered with Breakout Ph for the Death Care Week. So if you, a family/relatives and friends is an employee, sales agent or plan holder of St. Peter Life Plan head on to any Breakout Philippines branch and just present your ID to get Php100 off on the Corpse Bride room. Ms AiAi delas Alas and Hobe Quick Cook Noodles is happy to announce their 3 year relationship. It is indeed a blessing for both parties to be with each other.

Ms AiAi is known to be a hands on mom especially when it comes to cooking for her children. When asked what her favorite dish is when using Hobe, she answered Carbonara because it is the favorite of her kids. She also promised to let us taste her famous Carbonara the next time we'll see her for a blogcon. (announcing here just to be sure lol!)

Anyway, HOBE also announced that they have been doing good in the market in terms of sales. And in the coming months they will be visiting different markets from provinces to promote HOBE and hopefully Ms AiAi can join them.

I am excited to try HOBE, aside from their different types of bihon, they also have the instant noodles. If others have canton, HOBE has bihon in Chicken, Seafood and Oriental Guisado flavors and is very affordable too. So moms like me, let's include HOBE in our grocery list, let me know your thoughts through the comment box if you already tried or is excited to try HOBE.

My heart is weak when it comes to horror movies. But I can watch if I am with a lot of friends or family who can make me feel secure. That's why I love premiere nights especially this one with the Debutantes movie. It is one heck of a thriller! So just to not spoil anyone reading this, I will just give out information about my reactions and what I felt during the movie.


The kind of attack that they did to scare us was something different. I wasn't able to detect when something scary was gonna happen. The suspense and the surprises were not the usual. The frightening musical scoring was there but the thrill of when something is gonna happen made us all scream. This movie made my breathing so intense, I can't actually keep still on my chair, not knowing when will the next attack happen.







For the story, it is quite predictable, although the scaring made it different. But most of all The Debutantes is not just a Horror Film, it gave a lesson about bullying which is so rampant in this generation. All in all I think the movie will be a success, the girls are really good in portraying their respective roles so bravo! Congrats to Regal Films and the whole cast.
Mother Lily is the real expert in Philippine Horror Films.

I was one of those who were invited to attend the blogger’s conference for an endorsement of Ms AiAi delas Alas. I didn’t have any idea what it is about and thought maybe it was a surprise. Upon reaching the venue of Victorino’s Resto in QC, there was nothing, no clue at all. The setup was their regular, so up on the day of the event I was curious. And then Ms AiAi came in and we were so happy to see her, looking fresh and was just saying hello to everyone (I specifically love her hairclip-shining shimmering splendid).

And so it was revealed, she is the newest brand endorser of Pitalicious Shawarma. The setup for the shawarma booth came in just as we were about to eat, I am just not sure if it was on purpose or whatever but anyways it smelled so good. With Ms. AiAi is Ms Anna - I hope I got it right, one of the people from the Marketing of Pitalicious Shawarma. I asked why they thought Ms AiAi was the best endorser for Pitalicious? She answered, because Ms Ai is family oriented, and because the business is owned and managed by a family they saw that she embodies everything about the brand. And when I also asked Ms Ai why she said yes to their offer? Her answer was also because she loved that the business was created by love from a family.

Now comes a new full length movie with a different set-up and with an all-girl group to complete the cast. Chanel Morales, Jane De Leon, Michelle Vito, Miles Ocampo and and Sue Ramirez will be the main focus of the movie The Debutantes.

I am excited to share with you that Thiocell had a "thank you" party. It was attended by clients, customers and online friends (bloggers) who also use the product.

There was no formal program, but a team was in charge of doing interviews and taking testimonies about our experiences in using Thiocell. A report aired by GMA News' Balita Pilipinas said glutathione IV is commonly used to treat diseases and not as skin whiteners. 
The FDA made the warning as the injection of glutathione IV is being offered as a service in beauty spas, the report said. 
The report further said that the oral intake of glutathione capsules should be limited to 500 milligrams in a day. 

As the saying goes anything excessive can be harmful to our body. We should all be careful in choosing what we take.  Also remember that what works for another persons body will not necessarily work for you, it is still best to see a Doctor.

So far Thiocell is the best option in taking in glutathione because of its lozenge form. It is immediately absorbed through the mouth that's why it is effective. I recently attended an event of a very interesting product; the Grayns Rice Cooker. I first asked how much it is offered and shocked about how it is priced. But during the media program, I started to understand why. There were demo units at the area and we were made to taste the rice cooked from this rice cooker. As a type 2 diabetic, this is perfect for me and my mom because it can cut down our starch intake. I also asked if it is easy to clean, it has more pieces than our regular rice cookers at home, but I think it is manageable and also easy to clean as well. SOLABROS.com are brothers. Born and raised in the urban neighborhood of Mandaluyong City, Philippines, they are the children of multi-talented, multi awarded musician Jerome Abalos. Jerome was the singer behind the monster hit song “Larawang Kupas.” He was also the co-founder and front man of the 90s thrash metal band “Death By Stereo” and progressive rock band “Majesty.”

Jerome Abalos released 3 solo albums and 2 studio albums with his band. Death by Stereo’s self titled debut album was certified gold record while his solo self-titled debut album featuring the monster hit song, LARAWANG KUPAS, was a certified platinum.

Nurtured by music from the moment they were conceived, Sean, Zack, and Shane grew up with the melodic sound of the keyboards, the ripping sound of heavy metal guitar solos, and the thunder-like beat of drums and percussions. Raised and mentored by a multi-talented, multi genre musical artist of a father and fueled by their mutual interest in rock and roll, heavy metal, progressive rock, and alternative rock, Solabros.com can be considered as one of the rising stars in the Philippines, be it local or in international music scene.

The band was formed in 2015 by singer, songwriter, and keyboard player Sean Abalos and his younger brother, lead guitarist and singer Zachary Jeymz. From the moment Sean and Zack held their instruments and started playing, it was clear that they had a future in the local and international music scene. The band was soon joined by the band’s drummer Shane Steven, the youngest of the Abalos brothers, who gave the band his powerful Lars Ulrich-like drumming style. “Initially, we just wanted to be a band,” recalled Sean. “But when Shane officially joined us and started making all those power beats and double basses, our paradigm shifted and our aspiration changed overnight. We now wanted, not just to
be any band, we now wanted to be among the best bands locally and overseas.”

Though with different personalities, Sean, Zack, and Shane’s talents blended and clicked. In 2016, Solabros.com joined their first “Battle of the Bands,” their first public appearance. Since then, the trio had regular gigs in several bars in Manila and Luzon.



Sean Francis Abalos (vocals, keyboards) 
He is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree at Jose Rizal University in Mandaluyong City. 

After harnessing his God-given singing talent, Sean was trained on keyboardsand has been loving his new skill ever since.











Zachary Jeymz Abalos (guitars, vocals) 
He was exposed to music at a very young age. He is a currently in junior high school. 

With the encouragement of his dad, Zack trained himself to play the guitar, starting with acoustic, he leveled up almost overnight and has since mastered the electric guitar.

At only 16 years old, and only a year of playing, Zack has become a guitar phenom. His skills were way beyond his years.










Shane Steven Abalos (drums, vocals) 
The youngest of the Abalos brothers. At 14 years old, Shane is currently a freshman in high school.

With his passion for drums and percussion, Shane was initially trained to play the drums by his father. Shane focused with his training and has dramatically improved his drums and vocals skills. 

At only 14 years old and
only a year of playing, Shane can now be considered a drummer par excellence.
