Are you ready for a new and fresh show? GRIND is the newest weekend habit on GMA Network. If you are thinking that this might just be another teen-oriented show, well it is not. GRIND is show where Millenials could actually relate, composed of young professionals who goes through life problems same as yours. Also not a teleserye, just episodes of how they deal with common situations that is can be familiar to us and we could relate to.

GRIND is composed of GMA Artist Center talents; Benedict Campos, Jazz Ocampo, Bruno Gabriel and Ayra Mariano. Catch them every Saturday night after i-Witness; make them your weekend habit.

Home Foodie Enters Season 3

Home Foodie is now on its third season of bringing good and affordable food recipes to our homes. It is more exciting this time because they prepared "Madalicious Meals" which means Madali and Delicious, so more moms like me would be able to cook something easy but delicious meals for my family. 

Hosted by the "goals" couple Drew Arellano and Iya Villania, episodes will surely be more enjoyable to watch with them being so makulit and hopefully we will get a glimpse of their cute baby boy Primo joining in the fun. What's more exciting is the "Madalicious Meals App", yep you got it right, they have an app which we can download for the episodes that we might miss or recipes we want to check out from their previous seasons.

Lj Reyes is a successful entrepreneur who is forced to be the family's breadwinner when husband Mark Herras chooses to sit it our at home while waiting for his ideal job. TROPS Your Newest BAErkada Before Eat Bulaga

"Bae" the term used for this cute guys from Eat Bulaga and we are greeted with their handsome-ness during our lunch breaks, this time you might want to switch lunch times or do the early lunch excuse to catch them before Eat Bulaga as they are now part of the show "TROPS". I think this came from the word "Tropa" which means group of friends, now your regular noontime dancing and singing bae's will show their acting skills together with Taki. "TROPS" will be aired weekdays before Eat Bulaga, starts October 24 and will be joined by great actors so watch out for it.

ON THE SET: Magkaibang Mundo

Magkaibang Mundo stars Juancho Trivino and Louise Delos Reyes welcomed us during the bloggers set visit in one of their locations in Quezon City. Juancho expressed his sincerest thank you to all those who continually support and watch the show as well as his own supporters. We see Juancho as one tall hunk guy, very charming and fit and all and so we asked if he is up for a Cosmo runway? He said yes, he was supposed to do one but since it did not push through he is gearing up for the next batch. How does he maintain his body? For now Juancho is not on full workout because of their tapong schedules and all nighter scenes, he has to eat a lot for energy and stamina but promises to hit the gym again after the serye.

Louise delos Reyes on the other hand has already been the same as yours truly, "into blogging" yes she is now mor cautious than ever on what to post on her IG and unlike before that she does not care what clothes to wear or bring whenever there are out of town trips, now she checks on her stuff if it would be feed worthy, you know #FeedGoals. She also exclaims that now she enjoys attending events because she already gained friends in the blogging world and receives product samples as well. As of the time we were doing the interview she was carrying her camera around doing some shots on the surroundings while on break.

Julie Anne San Jose Chasing The Light

The ever lovely Julie Anne San Jose is once again back with her latest self titled album entitled Julie Anne San Jose Chasing The Light. This album is composed of original songs composed by various composers some even are foreign composers. Julie Anne admits she will be very busy in the upcoming months to promote her album in different parts of the Philippines and is also set to have concert tours after.

In line with her busy schedule as an artist, Julie plans to hopefully pursue her masters degree but would have to wait till next year so she can finish all her commitments first. And of course we were curious about the status of her love life since she had been exchanging tweets with the very eligible and hot Benjamin Alves. Julie says, what they are on twitter is what you see and what you get, they jive in terms of their love for reading and they get along so well, no courting yet but when asked if ever, Julie says Ben has all the potential of a boyfriend kind of guy and her family approves of him as well. Let's leave them at that for now and wait if their friendship blossoms into a serious relationship, nakaka kilig lang if ever.

Home Foodie Season 2

When a show gets to air another season, I believe it is successful and while they are at it, they think of ways to improve and what a lovely improvement they have. Miss Iya Villania-Arellano joins in the fun with hubby Drew Arellano. San Miguel Foods Incorporated together with GMA Network recently launched the season 2 of "Home Foodie". A three-minuter food show from the first season, yes 3 minutes only, direct to the point how-to-cook recipes for all the foodies out there.


Now on its second season, real life soon to be parents Iya and Drew shares how they are at home in terms of chores and who does the cooking. Iya admits that her mom is the real kitchen queen when she was growing up, that is why she is excited for this show because she wants to learn more about easy recipes to prepare and cook especially now that they are expecting. Drew, on the other hand being well traveled show host is the man of the kitchen, whenever he comes back from a trip, he usually turns the kitchen into a whole new theme inspired from where he recently came from.

And now, as this lovely couple join forces in "Home Foodie" expect a very sweet yet makulit kind of cooking and how-to's for easy recipes that one can cook up using simple yet affordable products. So when you get bored of the same cooking, watch Home Foodie everyday, 7:30 am, after Unang Hirit.

Summer Boys Next Door of GMA Artist Center

Summer is here and the weather should not be the only thing that's hot. You know who else is hot? GMA Artist Centers' Summer Boys who were all present during the bloggers conference held at Ice Berg in Quezon City. We'll introduce them to you one by one. Here we go:

James Teng
James might look too familiar to you of course, because he was part of Starstruck 6 but was booted out. But as they say opportunities can be everywhere it is just up to you to look for it, and so James found Ismol Family to be his project as of this time. A poging komedyante would definitely work for him.

Prince Villanueva
Prince has been part and was discovered on the late night show Walang Tulugan by the one and the only Master Showman Kuya Germs. Looking back, Kuya Germs really has an eye for talent and most of his dicoveries are now successful and multi-awarded artist. And Prince could probabaly be one of them if he really put his heart on his craft, I believe he is right now part of Wish I May, which stars the cute love team BiGuel; Bianca Umali and Miguel Tan Felix. With his charming eyes Prince is indeed a Prince.


Elyson De Dios
Elyson is another Starstruck 6 member, although this time we have a 2nd runner up. He may not be the ultimate survivor but landing in a role to be part of the newest offering on GMA Telebabad which is "Poor Señorita" alongside no less than the Songbird Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid would make one feel that they already won. And I personally think Elyson's genuine smile is his greatest asset.

Jak Roberto
This hunk actor is always ready to put on his oh so charming smile and give hugs whenever I see him. But this time he came prepared to show us his hot summer body and yes with abs!!! Ok stop drooling lol! Going back, Jak is part of Hanggang Makita Kang Muli on GMA's Afternoon Prime. Check him out as he tries to move up a notch on his acting skills because he was very much challenged to be directed by non other than Direk Laurice Guillen. I believe, Jak Roberto is a hunk with a heart.

Sino’ng bet mo, Kapuso?

Lip Sync Battle is an original series from the US that has become part of pop culture and a huge viral sensation. The show has featured a number of A-list Hollywood celebrities such as Anne Hathaway, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, John Legend and Justin Bieber.

In the Philippines, GMA Network has acquired the rights to produce Lip Sync Battle Philippines. The show will be hosted by multi-talented artist & Kapuso ace comedian Michael V together with TV host-actress Iya Villania as color commentator.

The game pits two Kapuso celebrities against each other in a lip sync battle for two rounds: Round 1 is the ‘Strip Down’ and Round 2 is the ‘Full Blown Concert.’ The celebrities can lip sync the song/s of their choice. Then the crowd determines the winner of the battle after the two rounds have been completed.

Catch your favorite Kapuso stars go head-to-head in Lip Sync Battle Philippines as it premieres on February 27. The show airs every Saturday night after Magpakailanman on GMA 7.

Alden Richards Gives Back Through A Birthday Charity Event

With all of his success and very busy schedule, Alden made sure that his 24th birthday is not about just having grand parties, giving back to our community is one of his top priorities, thus visiting and celebrating with the Aeta Community of Bamban was a success.
Good looking guy with a good heart and very hardworking, maybe that is why he is so blessed. Read on...
            
     
GMA Artist Center’s Alden Richards celebrated his 24th birthday with a charity event for the Aeta community in Sitio Gayaman, Bamban, Tarlac last February 8, 2016. Even if the outreach was held more than a month after his real birthday, which falls on January 2, Alden was okay with celebrating it a bit late because it was for a good cause.

The outreach program began very early in the morning with a program hosted by comedienne Tess Bomb. Everyone in the Aeta community was very excited to meet Alden and began screaming, cheering and clapping for him as soon as he arrived. Pastor Rico from Gayaman Hope Sungnae Presbyterian church located within the community gave the opening remarks.

One highlight of the program was a surprise dance number given by the Aetas. Alden was so touched and happy by the gesture he jumped right in and began dancing with them. The GMA Artist Center talent and Kapuso heartthrob also gamely posed for photos with members of the Aeta community.

The fun morning ended with a lot of donations and giveaways which Alden personally distributed to children and adults composed of 350 families within the Aeta community. Apart from personally distributing the goods, Alden also donated money from his own pocket to help the Aeta community.  Some of the items that were given out were rice, salt, sugar, coffee, soy sauce, vinegar, toiletries, shoes, bags, biscuits and kids’ apparel. According to Alden, he personally chose to help this particular group because not a lot of people know about the plight of the Aetas within the isolated community and he hopes that the outreach program will open people’s eyes to the situation there. Located on the mountain peaks of Tarlac, most of the houses don’t even have electricity or enough food to sustain their daily needs.

The event was made possible with the help of GMA Artist Center,  Land Rover Club of the Philippines, Pampanga Off Roaders Club Inc., Gopez Sisters, Dona Maria Premium Quality Rice, Boardwalk, PhilPlans, Tide, Downy, Gard shampoo, Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate, Sweet Kiss Custom Cakes, Datu Puti, McDonald's and Hapee Toothpaste.

Bea Binene at 18 is now #LegallyB

Bea Binene turns 18. I was invited for a mini conference presenting her to the media as soon to be adult. Bea is very much excited for her upcoming debut, she said she is a bit stressed about her weight because she thinks she is not thin enough, but personally I think she's fine, and she looked blooming. She will be having a total of 150 guests composed of both showbiz and non-showbiz friends. she says its gonna be a reunion of sort for her long time batch mates in the business.

Bea is also included on the show "Good News" from GMA News TV channel 11 in which my husband loves to watch her. With her busy schedule, she still manages to do her job but right now she can't no longer join the crew in visiting famous spots and food trips so most of the time she is doing Voice Overs. 

Oh, who would've thought this little cutie pie is now entering the adulthood. Asked what possible changes could she be doing now that she's turning 18? Bea says, she wanted to learn how to drive and possibly be allowed to drive on her own and also to sleep in her own room. simple things that would make her adulthood a little different than the usual. But what I liked most about her is that, she knows her limitations, she knows that entering this new chapter in her life doesn't give her all the freedom most teens would want; a very well said statement. Let's all wait for the unveiling of this beauty inside and out lady as she soon will be an adult.

Chef Boy Logro Celebrates 59th Birthday!

Chef Boy Logro our Idol Sa Kusina man celebrates his 59^th Birthday. A very humble man presents himself in a very cheerful manner to celebrate his day. The celebration took place in his culinary school located in Cavite, put up through his hard work and very good skills in handling his earnings. To commemorate this special day, a special cook-off challenge was one of the major activities. Students from Cavite State University were the contenders in creating their very own version of different desserts; it was all pressure to impress their judges headed by no other than Chef Boy himself. Prize at stake was a full scholarship grant from Chef Boy’s culinary school and some amazing products from sponsors for all the contenders.

Chef Boy was also serenaded by his family and close relatives and how cute his grandkids being so comfortable with their Lolo as they continue to play around him while the program continues. When all the party mood came to a more relaxed environment, we got to do some chitchat with Chef Boy. Hearing his story on how he survived the very challenging life they had back in the days made me respect him more. His humble beginnings how he managed to be brave and conquered the kitchen and until now continues to learn more and at the same time share more of his blessings not just with families but also his students. Of course growing old is part of his plans and he wanted to retire in his farm, yes he already has a farm in Davao and excitedly says how he loves the environment there and would want to grow old with his wife just relaxing and do some farming.

Chef Boy has a lot of stories to tell and an hour would not fit, but a few of what he shared made me inspired to go further and achieve more in life. Watch him do his kitchen moves on Idol Sa Kusina every Sunday 7:15 pm at GMA News TV Channel 11.

Hindi lang puro sarap at ligaya ang hatid ng pakikipag-relasyon. Parte rin nito ang mga tukso at pagsubok na susukat sa katatagaan at katapatan ng pagsasama.

Ngayong Abril, ihahandog ng GMA Public Affairs ang bagong drama anthology na maglalahad ng totoong karanasan ng mga magkarelasyong nagkaron ng matinding hamon sa pagsasama.
Mga problema gaya ng pagkakaroon ng kabit; lihim na pagkatao; sobrang selos, ambisyon o bisyo,; problema sa pamilya o katrabaho; obsesyon sa sex, pera o materyal na bagay.
Sa pamamagitan ng mga pagsasadulang pagbibidahan ng mga Kapuso Stars, at sa panulat at direksyon ng mahusay na independent film writers and directors, ipapakita sa “Karelason” kung anong hirap, sakit, kontrobersya o trahedya ang pinagdaanan at hinaharap ng ilang kababayan natin nang dahil sa pag-ibig!

Ang Kapuso actress/ TV host na si Ms. Carla Abellana ang magsisilbing tagapaglahad ng mga kwento… gaya ng storya ni “Minda” (Mylene Dizon), isang babaeng desperada nang magkaron ng kinakasama sa buhay kaya mabilis na nagtiwala kay “Daniel” (Mark Herras) na hindi niya gaanong kakilala. Anong pasakit ang ibibigay ng lalaking ito kay “Minda” kung saan magiging parte pa ng panloloko ang anak niyang bakla na si “Ryan” (Martin Del Rosario).  

Isa pang storyang tampok sa “Karelasyon” ay tungkol kay “Marlon” (Marco Alcaraz) na sobrang naging maligaya nang mapangasawa ang dream girl niyang si “Tere” (Valerie Concepcion).
Subalit unti-unting nagkaron ng lamat ang relasyon nilang dalawa dahil sa unti-unting pagbago ng itsura at pag-uugali ng kanyang asawa. Ano kayang pagpapabaya ang nagawa ni “Tere” habang lumalaki ang kanilang pamilya?

Matutunghayan din sa “Karelasyon” ang kwento ng mag-asawang sina “Lily” (Kris Bernal) at “Paul” (Rocco Nacino) na sa kagustuhang magkaron ng anak ay tinuring na pamilya si “Rowena”  (Karen Delos Reyes), isang disgrasyadang babaeng pumayag ipa-ampon ang ipinagbubuntis na anak kapalit ng pera. Pero kalaunan, higit pa sa salapi ang nanaisin niya, at ito ang magiging pagsubok sa katatagan at katapatan ng pagmamahalan ng mag-asawa.

Abangan ang mga storyang ito at ang aral na mapupulot mula sa mapait, makulay at kakaibang kwento ng mga magkarelasyon!

A Summer Party with GMA's Hot Men

Summer na and it is extremely getting hot in here! So GMA Artist Center came up with an event with Artist Center's hunks. The event was in a private resort in Antipolo, a cool olace made hot with the attendance of them boys, Juancho Trivino, Vince Velasco and Enzo Pineda.


Juancho is currently doing InstaDad which will start on April 5th, Sunday afternoon at 4:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon. He is currently happy with his loveteam Ashley Ortega and wanted to create a
solid tandem for the both of them, aside from showbusiness he is also on his 4th yr from his Business course in Dela Salle and plans to take on a business after graduation. Watch out for Juancho soon.

Vince needs to prepare for something about his next project which he still can't reveal, but said he would love to do a leading man role (nagpapakilig, nagpapaiyak and some random pick up lines) could this be the one he is preparing for? Nope, he did not spill the beans (we were not successful to make him talk) and said he will let us know once the camera rolls for the show.

And Enzo, what's up with him? In a few months or so, he will be out with a new endorsement which again he can't reveal pa, another secret project for now but shares he is very excited but can't actually talk about it yet. But anyway this guy is serious about being healthy, yes he talked about good food while we were eating our lunch and made us think twice in getting more food from the delicious buffet table especially prepared by Artist Center.

These hot young men are out to definitely conquer our summer, different angles, looks and priorities but what do they have in common? When we asked what their dream role would be like, they all wanted to do Action Films, so are we expecting hot men in action soon? Tagging GMA haha and oh ok tagging the Curtis sisters too as their leading ladies.

Yagit | The Set Visit

Yagit, GMA's afternoon serye is continously doing good on their timeslot. It is indeed a tough job having 5 kids in one show, of course they are still kids and being playful is a part of their youth. We had the chance to talk to the adult casts like Yasmien Kurdi, Kevin Santos, James Blanco and Paolo Contis, asked them how it was to be working with the kid stars? They all had an almost the same answer, that they are enjoying the company of the chikitings and having them keeps them sane and brings out the childlike in them.

We also got the chance to speak with the kids, and at their young age, they now know what they are getting into, how to respect their crafts and the importance of their job. They still would love to finish school, which I personally think is a must, some of them is on homeschooling program and some still attends regular school, they have different reasons on why they chose certain kind of schooling technique but what's important is aside from giving value to their job they also know the importance of having good education.

Pari 'Koy on March 9 | A New Role Dingdong Dantes

He is definitely back, from his Royal wedding comes a new teleserye, a fresh start plus a different role. Dingdong Dantes will soon be on our tv screens but this time as a Priest. We shouldn't miss this one for another reason that he will be joined by a great support cast, for sure this will be exciting.

Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes will be taking on a role he has never done before in GMA's Pari 'Koy. He will portray the role of Father Kokoy, a priest who is known for his non-traditional and non-conformist ways of bringing people closergm to God. Pari 'Koy airs weeknights beginning March 9 after 24 Oras on GMA Telebabad.

Julian Trono and his Wiki Me Single is now out!

When I had a glimpse of Julian Trono during the blogger's conference for his latest single Wiki Me, I thought to myself, k-pop? That was his vibe and looks like a legit Korean Artist, and it suits him well not trying hard plus the fact that he just came back from Korea. His latest single Wiki Me is now out and the music video is now being played on Myx.

We asked about his Korea experience and he said it didn't feel like he was working because he enjoyed his stay there and was very much accepted by the fans. But of course an interview will never be complete without some personal questions especially on the current status of his heart. Yes he is currently single and very much available but, we were shocked to know that if ever, he prefers someone older that him, maybe around 3 to 5 years from his age. We asked why and he said maybe because he wanted someone who is mature. Oh well, we all have preferences and if that is waht he wants, let's just give it to this cutie Korean looking young man.

His album is in the works and if given the chance to conceptualize his own, Julian said he wanted every single song to have a story, not just to have a song but something with a deeper meaning. Watch out for Julian Trono when he conquers the music scene one step at a time.
