Knorr welcomes their new celebrity endorser Chef Marvin Agustin. I was excited for this event since I haven't seen Marvin for so long, remembering those days of their Marvin-Jolina tandem, I enjoyed their movies and theme songs and also some dialogues especially the one where they were best friends and Jolina was in love with him. I thought their love team would go through the highest level meaning like marriage since they act naturally and really had chemistry, oh well it didn't happen.

As Knorr announces their newest celebrity endorser I am happy for Marvin, he has been in and out of projects from the showbiz industry, I actually thought he's just no where but I was wrong. Marvin with business partners and friends already has like 8 restaurants and counting, wow! maybe that's why he wasn't as active as before because he found his true love, cooking.

Managing these restaurants surely keeps him busy so we ask how he divides his time from work and being with his twins, Marvin says, for now, since the mother of the kids is out of country, he gets up like 5:30 a.m.to prepare them for school, he personally brings them to school and then comes back home and prepare for his whole day activity, he is now also into Golf where he finds it a good bonding time with the kids. Asked if he sees the twins interested in cooking, his eyes light up and says, "yes", every time he cooks at home the kids would be with him watching him or helping in the food preparation. He even shared that sometimes when they go to other restaurants the twins would ask if they own the place, cute! So now together with Knorr for sure another successful partnership with now the Chef Marvin. And oh all the food prepared on this event was cooked by Chef Marvin himself and I must say I was full. Cheers to Knorr and Chef Marvin.

Press Release:

Industry leader Knorr and its endorser Chef Marvin Agustin continue to be sources of inspiration to Filipino families, especially the moms. With this partnership of two of the  respected names in the food industry, expect only a continuous enriching of the Filipino family’s dining experience via a host of new projects, products, and recipes.

According to Marvin Agustin, recently named Young Entrepreneur of the Year, the values - Passion,Innovation, and the heart for good food – are the things that bind him and Knorr.
“It’s nice to promote something that you've been already using for a long time, inspired by the teachings of my mom, cooked and served well from the heart,” explains Chef Marvin. “Good food brings good friends and family together, so having Knorr by your side, is already an assurance that you have an ally in the kitchen, which I consider the heart of every home.”
Chef Marvin considers his mom Maria Teresa as his inspiration in everything he does, including being a chef. In fact, his soon-to-be-opened and first Filipino family restaurant Maria Teresa is a loving tribute to his mom.

“The kitchen has bonded me and my mom in unexpected ways, and I am thankful that Knorr has given me this chance to share a part of myself to every mother in the country,” says the accomplished restaurateur-chef-actor.“Together with Knorr, we will provide modern-day Filipino families with dishes that respond to their needs, while making their cooking experience fulfilling, pleasurable and enriching.”

Being a part of the Knorr family, Marvin will create dishes that highlight how Knorr products (Sinigang Sa Sampaloc Original Mix, Knorr Cubes, and Ginataang Gulay Mix) can help Filipino mothers create the best dishes fortheir families

15 Star Magic Artists – One Big Movie – 7 Different Stories- Star Magic 20th Anniversary. What’s going on? The biggest movie of the year, imagine the little cuties Xyriel Manabatand Zaijian Jaranilla, the handsome men Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby and DietherOcampo, the dance princess Maja Salvador, the sexy-funny Pokwang, and yourfavorite love teams Zanjoe Marudo and Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz and AngelicaPanganiban, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo (Kathniel) and the most awaitedcomeback team up of Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu (Kimerald) all the biggeststars rolled into one, now tell me is this a great deal or what?

For sure movie goers will again be treated into a feel goodmovie about love, 7 different stories that each one of us could possibly relateto, but if not at least something we could share. I just know this movie willbe a hit since most if not all of the stars have their own followings already, plus the fact that this is a comeback movie of one of the countries favoritelove team the Kimerald (Kim and Gerald) supported by the booming tandem ofKathniel (Daniel and Kathryn). I remembered during the press conference held atthe Dolphy theater, while Kathryn was answering a certain question she’s notsure of how to answer, Gerald made a comment “parang si Kim 2 years ago” thatmade me think ah this Kathniel team is growing fast and conquering the fans. Onthe other hand this is a first for real life partners Zanjoe and Bea; Z actingas gay must be hilarious. also a first for the recently announced couple JohnLloyd and Angelica, so we shall see how it goes. I am extremely excited for Samand “mamang” Pokwang, during the bloggers conference for this movie, Pokwangsaid we should stand by for the love scene that they did and that it’s herfirst time to do a sensual kissing thing in a movie. Piolo and Diether wehaven’t seen in a movie for a while too, but this time Papa P is playing a roleof a person with special needs, joining him in the story is the cute kids Xyrieland Zaijian. And for Diether, the boss of the beautiful and sexy secretary,Maja, in a funny way admits they both had to adjust because of their“generation gap”.

So those are just a few of what I can say about this moviesince I am also waiting for it but great news November  21st  is fast approaching, so get ready and let’sall feel and give some love for this movie.

Coca-Cola has been one of the brands I am loyal to but nottoo loyal and fanatic as my husband. He collects coke bottles, glasses and evencoke-in-cans, he recognizes when a can had a new design even if there arechanges on the shade of red that were used, imagine that? And anything new forsure it goes in the grocery cart even if it’s not on our list of “things to buy”.  Oh well through the years we've been together I got the hang of it and sometimes, made me also check it out, and asthe saying goes “if you can’t beat ‘em, join them!”

So imagine him getting jealous that I was invited by ablogger friend, Flow. It’s the Coca-Cola Giant Christmas Tree Lighting Event and“Coke 100 Pasko”, held at the parking lot of the Smart Araneta Coliseum.  I used to watch this Giant Christmas TreeLighting on television and thought that this Christmas tree was just ordinary,so why was it called giant? That day answered my question; it was indeed aGiant Christmas Tree.

The afternoon was filled with activities, we went in the Coca-Colabus, super fun, had meryenda-dinner the Filipino way; pansit, puto, fruits, bibingka and lechon hmm did I miss anything? Of course the food wouldn't beperfect without Coca-Cola! Cheers! Have you watched one of the YouTube video ofCoke? This is the one with the happiness truck, and you have to push the bigPUSH button then it gives out free drinks and surprising items and food? Yes! Iget to try that too, the line was long but it was so worth it, when it was myturn to push the big PUSH button ha-ha, I pushed it real hard, “feel na feel”and tada! I had a big box full of Coca-Cola cupcakes, plus a 2.5L of Coca-Coladrink. And yes I had a difficult time carrying it around to get our othertreats like cotton candy and ice cream but it was still fun and we managed togather some chairs so we can enjoy our snacks while waiting for the main event.

A number of artists from different networks and beauty pageants title holders were also thereto join in the Lighting of the Giant Christmas Tree. There were alsoperformances for the fans, guests and media people. When the  announcement was made, I hurriedly went inthe crowd and positioned myself to take a few photos, sadly I wasn't able tobring my camera so I had to depend on my iPod Touch, but never the less I wasable to make a few good shots. The lights were turned on and yehey! MerryChristmas everyone, I was feeling that moment, the red and white confettisticking to my face and my hair but I didn't care, for a few seconds I closedmy eyes and just shut out everything that’s happening, and when I came back wowit felt good.

The evening was so spectacular, yes I was tired but because I was with good company of good friends MJ, JL, Flow, Richard, Mommy Myrns, and Ning it was all worth it, Coca-Cola you are the Best! Congratulations Coke 100 Pasko!

TV Patrol launches its new segment CCTV Patrol with no other than Kabayan himself Mr. Noli de Castro. The program tackles videos sent by televiewers who have witnessed and captured crimes on video and was sent to ireport@abs-cbn.com

This would be a big help in resolving crimes since faces could be recognized and the actual scene of the crime are captured, in line with this TV Patrol will help in the investigation and will make sure to give follow through on the videos sent to them. CCTV Patrol also promises to to review videos and investigate first before they have it aired on TV Patrol.

Most people nowadays have videos on their mobile phones, everything can be captured and we can just hope that it will be put into good use.

A few weeks ago while watching my regular line up of tele-novelas, a tvc (television commercial) caught my attention, a mom trying to squeeze everything for the coming Christmas eve, getting up early and sleeping very late, went shopping for gifts, braved the busy market and taking care of her little boy. On Christmas eve while everyone  in the family were busy enjoying everything the mom prepared the little boy took a portion of pasta and served it to her mom, for a while the mom paused and felt deeply touched by what her son did, and there I was teary eyed and felt the mom's happiness.

A week after, I was invited by Mommy Jo to Kraft Eden's event "Sarap ng Pasko, dahil sa iyo Ma". We were early at the event place so we get to hang around for a while, as we were waiting, the set up crew were  doing some rounds of tests for the presentation, and there I saw it once more the tvc, I immediately told Mommy Jo and she got a glimpse of it and there she was also in tears and was touched by the tvc. From then on I know the event was really something I would really love. At the end of the day I also want to be a mom who can make every Christmas special for my future kids, thanks Eden for giving us tips on making Christmas decorations and gift wrapping, looking forward to many more years with you.
