I actually have a lot of pictures stored on my laptop and my phone, and not all are posted on my social media accounts. Nowadays having them printed and putting them each in an album is so much of a hassle and time consuming plus a bit pricey in terms of wanting to print them all lol! But here's the good news, Fujifilm came up with this awesome "Photo Diary" yep, it is a book like finish but with our photos in it, the paper used is water resistant and the print is in top quality. Imagine storing your event photos in a shelf with titles on each of them so you would be able to know which is which, plus it is very affordable like it starts at Php 1,000 for a 16-page of photos depending on the kind of template or layout that you want, so you can customize and fit in small and large photos is one page.

How to do it? If you have much of time, sort through your photos and save it on your USB flash drive, visit any Fujifilm sho and attach ur USB on their machine and then go ahead and edit the photos based on your preference, key in the title, color and personalize, then pay and come back the next day (within 24hrs) to claim. But for those who are in a hurry you can just drop by a Fujifilm store, leave your USB with them and they'll be the one to do it for you, just drop by the next day and voila you'll get your own Photo Diary, it's just that easy.

I will soon try this with our photos, I just need the time to actually sort them lol! But will post again once our Photo Diary is done. So cherish those memories with lovely Photo Diaries from Fujifilm.

While the survey conducted reveals that more Filipino millennials are engaging in regular physical activities outside work, they find it difficult to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle in the modern workplace.

PHILIPPINES, October 27, 2016 – Herbalife Nutrition, a global nutrition company, has released the findings from its Asia Pacific Millennials At Work Survey1, which revealed that Filipino millennials are adapting a healthy, active lifestyle, however, most believe their current workplace environment prevents them from doing so.

Millennials, or people born in between 1980 and 2000, are opting for a workplace that will encourage them to stay active, if only this will be embedded in every company culture. About 83 percent or eight (8) in 10 millennials have agreed that they would like their company workplace to adopt a healthy, active lifestyle.

With the millennial generation expected to make up 50 percent of the global workforce by 2020, ensuring the wellbeing of millennials will be important to improving workplace productivity. “There are about 35 million millennials now in the Philippines, which is about one-third of the country’s entire population. Five years from now, millennials will be dominating the labor force. While most millennials want to lead healthy lives, they face real obstacles at work in doing so,”
said Rosalio Valenzuela, Herbalife Philippines General Manager. “At Herbalife Nutrition, we provide our employees with nutrition products at work, subsidize gym memberships, hold regular wellness programs related to nutrition and well-being, and encourage participation in outdoor activities and sports competitions.”

Additionally, the survey findings revealed the following:
• Seven (7) out of 10 millennials strive to live healthy, active lives
• However, the majority of millennials find it challenging to maintain an active lifestyle at work – eight (8) out of 10 millennials spend 6 to 13 hours at their work desk each day, and 64% of millennials get less than 30 minutes of physical activity - including standing, stretching and walking at work on an average work day.
• Additionally, 64% of millennials cited the “lack of time” as the key obstacle to engaging in physical activity at work.
To provide tips on how millennials and their employers can integrate positive nutrition and life style habits at their workplaces, Herbalife Nutrition has organized a sixth Asia Pacific Wellness Tour, which builds upon the successes of the past five tours that welcomed over 100, 000 participants. Five experts from the Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB) are scheduled to tour 21 Asian cities from October 7 to 30, to hold a series of talks, workshops and medical symposia across the region.

“Through these efforts, we hope to equip organizations and employees with the right tools to collectively build a healthier work environment across Asia Pacific,” said Valenzuela.

Julian Alvarez Garcia, M.D., Ph.D., a member of the Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board, will be visiting Manila for the Asia Pacific Wellness Tour this October. Julian Alvarez Garcia, M.D., Ph.D. will also be sharing expert advice on how millennials can adopt simple positive nutrition and lifestyle habits at work to improve their overall well-being in the long run.

Some of the tips to help foster a healthier millennial workforce include:

• Nutrition

o Dedicate a healthy eating day each week and get colleagues involved in making healthy choices for lunch on this day.
o Boost water intake to help the body digest food, rid the body of toxins, and help deliver nutrients to the cells. Drink at least eight (8) glasses or two (2) liters of water a day.
o Have a protein shake combined with non-fat milk and healthy fruit for breakfast. With 20-30 grams of protein and low-fat contents, it can provide the body with all the nutrition it needs to power through the day.

• Active Living

o Create a playlist that incorporates upbeat music and play with hourly intervals.
o Use Running Apps to keep energized and on-pace during regular runs.
o Set a goal to join running competitions to motivate self to sustain an active lifestyle.

1Herbalife’s Millennials At Work Survey was conducted in 2016, with 5,500 respondents aged 18 and above, from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

The Alaska Merry Cremas Food Fest was held last week at the Trinoma Activity Center where a lot of excited participants and expectators came to taste the different food prepared by the exhibitors as their entry for the food fest using the Alaska Crema.

Luckily I was chosen to be one of the judges to taste these wonderful treats, I thought its gonna be easy coz, hey I will just taste the food then that's just it, but I was wrong.

Being a judge takes a lot of responsibilities that goes beyond tasting, as someone who knows how to cook, aside from the taste, presentation and uniqueness that was indicated in my judges sheet, I personally considered the ingridients, time and effort on how I think the food was prepared, hence finishing last in passing my score sheet.

I was overloaded with sweets ( good thing I have my meds with me lol!) all in all my judging experience was not at all that easy, so the next time I'd be watching shows where judges have to make a tough decision I won't judge their decision anymore lol! Thanks Alaska Crema for making this experience super exciting and yeah sweet lol!

Find Something Delicious at Alaska Merry Crémas Food Fest 2016

If there's one thing that best highlights the joys and abundance of the Christmas season, it's the many feasts and gatherings that bring Filipino families and friends together. Aside from the happy memories, the catching-up and the bonding opportunity, it's the sumptuous dishes coming out of the kitchen and even the take-out box that is truly the centerpiece of every Christmas gathering.

The Yuletide Season also marks the opening of many food fairs and bazaars where up and coming food merchants take center stage and get the opportunity to showcase their delicious food products to foodies and the public. Bazaars provide the chance for upcoming names to reach out to a bigger slice of the market at a more convenient setting due to its strategic location, high market traffic and the word-of-mouth advertising it usually brings.

This year's Alaska Merry Crémas Food Fest, to be held on Sunday, November 6, from 11AM to 8PM at the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City proves to be another exciting gathering of more than 30 food concessionaires all geared up to showcase their various food specialties to the public. While the food on display is a mix of sweet and savory dishes, there's one thing that makes it both delicious and delectable and that is the Alaska Crema All-Purpose Cream.

On it’s fourth staging, start-ups and established businesses operating out of their home kitchens relish the opportunity of being able to showcase their specialty dishes, while also having the chance to gain more patrons, thanks to the exposure being offered by the event.

Here, three food merchants speak about their passion for good food and the "créma" that makes it possible.

Chef Jon’s: Sumptuous, mouth-watering cakes
by Chef Joseph Sanvictores

Baking has always been a passion for Joseph Sanvictores, a young chef who is living the dream of starting his own bakery, Chef Jon’s, following a quick detour with food. Already an established chef with multiple food businesses under his name, Chef Joseph started offering cakes and other pastries out of his home kitchen two months ago. As a baker, he credits Alaska Crema for giving his cakes its distinct taste, "What I like about Alaska Crema is that its a cream that's not too overpowering in sweetness; it has that balanced taste that works well for my cakes," he shares.
Since the bakery is still in its infancy, Chef Joseph appreciates the fact that Alaska Crema gives bakers like him value for money -- especially since baking is a business that relies heavily on the use of creams. By joining this year's Alaska Merry Crémas Food Fest, he hopes to reach out to a bigger market, with more people having the opportunity to get to know more of his products. Chef Joseph will showcase up to four variants of cake on display, including his best-seller, dubbed the Birthday Cake.

Southern Barbecue: Pinoy favorite made different
by Anna Tugas and Marsie La Sangre

Barbecues are a truly distinct Pinoy staple food, hence making them a dime-a-dozen. Southern Barbecue, a business by long-time friends Anna Tugas and Marsie La Sangre hopes to make that difference by offering their barbecues with a side of Alaska Crema. If this sounds implausible, then all the more that the public should try it.

The two long-time friends have food businesses of their own when they decided to collaborate on a shared food business. After deciding to offer barbecues ("because they're easy to make," says Anna), the two were able to open a physical store in their BF Homes neighborhood. Since barbecue has always been a common viand, the two decided to put an edge and a spin to the staple meal by offering it with a side of garlic sauce, made out of Alaska Crema.

Marsie believes that joining Alaska Merry Crémas Food Fest serves as a good marketing tool to their business, on top of having a physical store. The association to the Alaska Créma brand also provides them with the edge and the exposure that will definitely benefit Southern Barbecue.

Batter Up: Sweet brownies and cookies you can’t help but nibble on
by Florence Bayer

Florence Bayer discovered her love of baking when she was still barely out of high school, following a serendipitous turn at the school oven during a home economics class. Bayer began offering the baked goodies for sale, buoyed by the success of her signature brownies that turned out to be a hit even among her mom's friends. This was more than ten years ago, and the love for baking resulted to Batter Up, Bayer's successful home bakery business.

Bayer is back for the second time for this year's Merry Crémas, and definitely more excited than ever to showcase more than seven variants of her baked goods. Taking center stage is her signature brownies, which counts Alaska Crema as one of its ingredients. "I started using Alaska Crema by accident. I had to improvise because I was missing a yogurt so I decided to use Alaska Crema with lemon instead. That made all the difference and had led me to create something that is well-loved by everyone," she shares.

By joining Alaska Merry Crémas Food Fest 2016, Bayer is looking forward to having an entirely different market to cater to, plus gaining the exposure, which is very important, especially for a young baker like her.

Have a taste of what these three food merchants can offer, while also getting the chance to enjoy other sumptuous dishes and sweet delights when you visit this year's Alaska Merry Crémas Food Fest at Trinoma. Who knows? You might just have met the next food superstar or tasted the next in-demand dish that day.

I have a 1 year old baby boy, as early as now my husband and I talks about our future plans for him and one important topic will always be about his education. It is great to know that we now have other options when it comes to educating our child and one of which is homeschooling. Personally, I would want my little boy to really experience regular schooling like what we did before wherein he can interact, socialize, gain friends and even experience the not so good ones because I believe these will help him in developing his character. But then again, homeschooling is not that bad too, read along for nore information...

On its sixth annual Philippine Homeschooled Conference Expo (PHCI) held at the SMX Convention Center, SM Aura, gathered some of the counyry's experts on homeschooling to share their insights on the importance and implications of homeschooling. With the theme 'From Roots to Wings', PHC hopes to nourish the firm foundation that they have with parents by continuing to equip them with knowledge and virtues that would help them soar together.

One of the guest speaker was Mr. Eric Nicdao, District Manager of Philam Life. Nicdao explained that while there are distinct advantages to homeschooling, it is never without a challenge. " The cost of education for homeschooling a child is not expensive as others perceive it to be," said Mr. Nicdao. He further explained that this is because homeschooling entails the presence of one of the parents at home which will potentially reduce the family's overall income. With the increasing costs of college education, it will be very daunting to have only one breadwinner. Mr. Nicdao also shared why it is impornt to plan early for the child's education.

To help address these concerns, Philam Life launched a new education product, Future Scholar. It offers guaranteed education benefits and long term growth potential through access to expertly-managed funds. The plan will continue without the need to pay future payments should the payor pass away or suffer total and permanent disability.

It is to these concerns that Philam Life's Future Scholar plan focuses with its guaranteed educational benefits and unique features available like making life insurance coverage for parents or premium adjustment in times of great need.

Education For Our Kids Future with Philam Life

I have a 1 year old baby boy, as early as now my husband and I talks about our future plans for him and one important topic will always be about his education. It is great to know that we now have other options when it comes to educating our child and one of which is homeschooling. Personally, I would want my little boy to really experience regular schooling like what we did before wherein he can interact, socialize, gain friends and even experience the not so good ones because I believe these will help him in developing his character. But then again, homeschooling is not that bad too, read along for nore information...

Several years ago, I told my then "single" self that I don't want to work in Manila because mainit kasi, I came from Baguio so syempre the difference in weather was the best kaartehan I could ever reason out. My boyfriend then, now my husband (para clear lang tayo lol!) submitted my resume to different call center companies, I received several phone interviews and was invited for exams, in short I was hired. I told my mom that a friend reffered me and was able to look for a boarding house where I could stay (boyfriend ko talaga may gawa non pero secret lang hahaha). And so my Manila journey began, then we both transferred in OSRP where we became officemates, we loved the company and the people we worked with, I never thought we'd gain lifetime friends and we were thankful, very thankful for having them in our lives. Of course, plans change and we had to separate ways (nag-resign, lumipat etc.) but came our wedding day, they were present.

We were and until now renting a one bedroom apartment and I believe we are very blessed to have mababait na land lady (hindi yung parang sa movies na bungagera, naka rollers at may yosi type lol!) I remembered before, I was asked by one of our friend slash Ate (sa office) slash Ninang sa kasal (so if you are reading this alam mo na ikaw to hahaha!) on why don't we look for a property na for us, or a condo unit, my reaction was no, we don't want to kasi di rin kami magtatagal dito sa Manila, and we still want to raise our kids in our hometown etc, etc. Also, I never wanted the idea of living in a condo unit, limited space, kulob, expensive and I really wanted a house and lot. Fast forward to now, wala pa rin kaming house and lot, there are affordable ones but are outside Metro Manila na, we first considered the work of the Mister, travel time (hello traffic) spent supposedly with the family will be gone, some of the houses we saw was very very beautiful but the problem was, stores or markets are outside the villages pa (mahirap kapag nakalimutan kong wala na pala kaming bawang, malayo ang tindahan hahaha). And because we already have our baby B, we also considered nearby schools kung meron and syempre we wanted a good school for him din.

So fast forward ulit to yesterday, we finally signed up, for what? For a 2-bedroom condo unit, pre-selling here within the area, and no hindi po ako ahente hahaha before you stop reading nililinaw ko lang. Nilafang ko lahat ng inayawan ko noon, yes change can just be like that, yung inarte ko noon na ayaw ko ng condo, ayoko sa Manila, hello for my blogging events kung saan-saan na nga ako nakarating and it will be my husband's forever joke "ayaw mo sa Manila ha eh kung saan-saan ka nga pumupunta" my answer would always be "may pa-service naman yung PR" hahaha! So yesterday my dear friends was the biggest kaba of my life, because this will be the most expensive thing na pagdadaanan namin, we thought while B is still young and before he goes to school, we will move-in in about 5years, and it will be ours, our own, my kitchen! We have great schools in the area, our favorite grocery and we are in the middle of almost everywhere, malls nearby, hospitals too and a tricycle ride away from EDSA. And the condo and building model parang resort, open spaces yung corridors so you won't feel kulob, swimming pools yes may 's' tatlo kasi bakit ba haha, basta excited na kami. But of course with the excitement comes a few changes in our lifestyle, tipid mode muna as we face in achieving this new dream of ours and with the support of our dear families and friends and by God's grace we know we will pull this off with flying colors. Thanks for reading and I can't wait to share with you all in five years kung ano na ang naipundar namin, but for now back to regular entertainment-lifestyle-food-parenting blog posts muna ulit.

Love and Blessings to all!
P.S. Pwede nyo rin ako contact kung bet nyo kumuha I can forward you to our agent naman 😘😘😘

After the successful night of the Powerhouse Concert, I still can't get enough of Michael Pangilinan it was kinda bitin lol! So if you want more of him or want to check out why I am raving about this young man, head on to his birthday concert.

He is currently busy preparing for his big day as it is said to be held at Rajah Sulayman Park in front of Malate Church in Malate, Manila. Michael is super excited for this concert since his proposed invited guests said yes and would join him on this very special day. So come one come all and celebrate real talent, I tell you, it will be worth it plus "kilig" bonus.

See you!

Premiere Actress Lovi Poe is much talked about these days. This is because of her role in the controversial flick "The Escort". In this new outing, Lovi plays the role of Yassi. She is a young girl who is working her way to care of her siblings. Yassi meets Cyrus, played by Derek Ramsay, a hot flashy guy who immediately gets smitten with Yassi. Cyrus however has bigger plans for Yassi. He hopes to introduce Yassi to the profession of being an escort. Millionaire Gary Montanilla, portrayed by the Christopher De Leon, enters into the picture. Gary also gets smitten with Yassi due to Cyrus' insistence. But Cyrus realizes that he loves Yassi and can't let go of her. What happens next is a never-ending series of conflicts among the three characters.

Actress Lovi Poe considers her role in "The Escort", as one of the most difficult and most challenging of her career. "Yassi is the boldest character I have ever played, boldest because she reveals her inner most character as the story unfolds. Yassi can't be bought. She has her principles. But she is not stupid either. In the end, she swallows her pride and follows her heart, but with a heavy price", reveals Lovi. Although the actress has won several acting awards in the past, she thinks that her portrayal of Yassi in "The Escort", is one of the hardest she has ever done. "It's also the most sensual", she adds.

Lovi Poe indeed seems to be flying high these days. aside from "The Escort" which opens on November 2, Lovi is seen Weeknights in her prime-time teleserye "Someone to Watch over Me", which airs at 9:15 pm on GMA 7.

"Bae" the term used for this cute guys from Eat Bulaga and we are greeted with their handsome-ness during our lunch breaks, this time you might want to switch lunch times or do the early lunch excuse to catch them before Eat Bulaga as they are now part of the show "TROPS". I think this came from the word "Tropa" which means group of friends, now your regular noontime dancing and singing bae's will show their acting skills together with Taki. "TROPS" will be aired weekdays before Eat Bulaga, starts October 24 and will be joined by great actors so watch out for it.

The one and only Bossing Vic Sotto is now the newest endorser of the famous chicken na walang sauce: Chooks To Go. Vic recalls that Chooks was first introduced to him by then his Eat Bulaga co-host now wife Pauleen Luna, he said it was weird at first that there was no sauce when he asked for it, and then after tasting the chicken, he realized it really doesn't need any sauce at all. And now when he was offered to represent the food brand, guess who is more excited to say yes immediately? Of course non-other than the wifey Pauleen. Chooks To Go is proud to say that they got the best chicken to offer, it is definitely a good take home ulam for the family especially now that there are times when we can barely cook dinner because of our busy lifestyle. I myself buts chooks to go when the need arises and sometimes I add lots of garlic, a little bit of water and a bottle of mang tomas, let is simmer and voila, lechon kawali the chooks style.

You can do more and experiment with different types of cooking with chooks but the best is still of course the original recipe steaming hot off the grill. Are you also a Chooks mommy? Have you tried to do other viands using Chooks? You may share your recipe so we can try it too!
