CTO

Her name is Sarah Carlos, she will now embody a very difficult role as Beabianca Bejerano that was portrayed before by Vanessa Del Bianco. How extreme is it to be the third wheel of the famouse love tandem of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla? Amidst the challenging role, the biggest hurdle she has to face are the fans of KathNiel, how ready is she to take comments both negative and positive from the cyber world? That we will see once the camera starts rolling for this pretty lady. ( A-tapang A-babae si atey! Di sya afraidy aguilar hahaha!)

I sincerely do hope she will not be bashed just because she is the third party (wag ganun guys) but because she will do good in her acting that people will be annoyed at Beabianca perse. And also fans should be mature enough to know that this is just for the Teleserye, nothing personal. But (nakuneto naaaa, kapit!) how true are the rumors circulating that she will have a kissing scene with Daniel? ( Abangers naaaaa! Panic! Hahaha!)

Ano na mga KathNiels, paano na?

Don’t have the time to visit actual stores to look for the best phone that fits your lifestyle? Worry no more because Lazada Philippines, the country’s one-stop shopping destination, houses just the best brands in the market—with a never-before-seen Cherry Mobile CUBIX!

Cosmic Technologies, Inc., the creator of Cherry Mobile, introduces its first exclusive online brand CUBIX which will add to Lazada’s complete product portfolio. The brand is set to launch on June 26 at 12 noon and will be sold at P4,490 exclusively in Lazada.  According to InancBalci, CEO of Lazada Philippines, this year is the perfect time to introduce new phones that set the standard for an upscale lifestyle, with an added shopping convenience without the added price.

“The number of mobile subscriptions is set to overtake the global population this year,” Balci said. “Now that we are more connected than ever, the only challenge left for most Filipinos is to find the perfect mobile companion that can handle all their lifestyle needs.”

The TNS Mobile Life reported that 54 percent of Filipino consumers consider mobile phones as their most important piece of technology. While most of them had a change in purchasing priorities since they now buy phones based on the right features that enhance personal experience, Balci said that they can better complement this user experience with a sophisticated phone design.

Balci added, “While there is a growing number of people looking for more affordable phones that promise the same—or even better—phone quality, we can offer a whole lot more than what they expect with CUBIX.” Cosmic Technologies partnered with Lazada for retailing CUBIX to the online shopping site’s customers with an aim to increase its target customers, especially those who are looking for their next target phones.

The upbeat smartphone runs on Android KitKat with a 5” HD On Cell Display. It boasts its 13MP Rear Camera and a 5MP Front Camera, designed for people who love to take pictures.
The CUBIX also has a 1.4 GhzOctacore Processor and 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM. This will be available only in Lazada via this page.
Balciconcluded, “Cherry Mobile has been our partner since Lazada entered the Philippines. With the trust they gave us to launch another premium brand, this only means that we gained new grounds in terms of online shopping. For its part, Lazada will continue to provide quality service to its customers as well as its partners no matter where they are around the country.”

More than 100 Philippine food and beverage influencers enjoyed a taste of great New Zealand products this week as New Zealand Food Connection kicked off in Manila.

Eight New Zealand food and beverage producers presented at Food Connection, an exclusive trade show designed to connect New Zealand’s exceptional quality food and beverage offerings with demand in the Philippines. Attendees enjoyed a VIP lunch starring premium New Zealand products.

Featured products included New Zealand wines and all natural, non-alcoholic beverages. Wine and beverages are among New Zealand’s fastest growing export products to the Philippines, with nearly two million litres exported in the year to March 2015 – growth of nearly a third in just one year.

New Zealand dairy is a household staple in the Philippines, one of New Zealand’s top dairy export destinations. New Zealand Food Connection highlighted the household name Anchor products, as well as a brand Filipinos love: New Zealand Natural ice-cream, which is known for its natural ingredients and huge variety of delicious flavours.

“The Philippines is a close friend of New Zealand, and it’s great to see Filipinos enjoying New Zealand products,” says Hernando Banal, New Zealand’s Trade Commissioner to the Philippines.

“While New Zealand dairy has always been popular, more diverse New Zealand products are now found in stores, hotels and restaurants like wine, non-alcoholic beverages and meat.”

The value in New Zealand exports to the Philippines has increased 21% in the last two years to March 2015, with a value of more than 22 billion Pesos.

Just The Way You Are, this movie is worth your time and money, as in!

To start with, two new refreshing faces on the big screen, so fresh that both lead stars Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano known as #LizQuen doesn’t need layers of make-up. Their beautiful faces would instantly give good vibes to every movie goer, would make you feel relaxed after maybe a long day at work or school and… ok enough of the formality, here’s my real take on the movie!

At first I was hesitant, feeling ko kasi since their recent Teleserye, Forevermore just finished, eh baka the movie was minadali, oh but I was super wrong, walang hint ng Maria Agnes Calay and Alexander Grande III and movie na ito.

Sila so far yung talagang tumatak sakin sa movie aside from of course Enrique and Liza.

Grabehan, sobrang galing Liza Soberano, yung mga eksena nya na umiiyak, ma fi-feel mo talaga yung hurt nya, this goes to prove na she’s not just a pretty face, may laman sya umiyak, hindi pinipilit lumuha, may hikbi, nakaka connect sya sa audience in terms of her feelings sa movie. For quite some time, ngayon lang ulit ako nadala at napaluha sa isang eksena, and this was because of Liza. Pero di rin naman sya papakabog sa mga pagpapatawa at pagpapakilig, they really have the absolute chemistry, sila ni Enrique.

And of course, Enrique is mahusay naman na talga sa actingan but dito sa movie he showed his pagpapakilig kind of acting and based sa review ko on my IG account last night (@MisisNikole) my gosh magbaon talaga kayo ng rice, kasi uulamin nyo sya dito ng bongga! Pero super bagay nya ang mga pagpapa cute nya dito, hindi pilit, macho gwapito talaga and mamahalin nyo sya after.

My take on why this Breakthrough love team has clicked:
1)      From Forevermore, they already captured the hearts of their audiences. If before ang mga Teleserye ay para sa mga mudrakels lang, oh well this time even mga father, ate, kuya and actually buong household na capture nila, this is not my made up story ha, my Mister thinks Teleserye’s were corny, and stories are just the same, but everything changed when Forevermore started. Also, Fanboys were born, madaming umamin na lalake na fans sila of both Liza and Quen, in my circle of friends Forevermore was dubbed as ang Teleserye ng mga tunay na lalake, so see na capture talaga nila ang hearts ng halos lahat ng age demographics.

2)      Fresh faces, hindi nakakasawa, hindi natatabunan ng make-up at hindi lang maganda at gwapo dahil may make-up. Super bagay in all aspects and because they already built a very good friendship, super comfortable na sila on screen. And the nose, diba ang tatangos ng ilong, for me ha, sila talga ang cute na mag nose to nose, nakaka tusok sa tangos!

3)      Superb acting, super normal and no inhibitions at all. Maybe because they are so comfortable with their own self that they are not afraid magpapa panget or maging nakakatawa sa movie, feeling mo kabarkada mo sila kasi nga ang normal lang, maybe working with these two was just a breeze, parang ang gagaan kasama sa work.

4)      Humble. I heard and read a lot about how the two are super down to earth.  Quen is super friendly and chill lang and hindi sya pa pogi effect and as a blogger na experience ko rin ito na nakakaalala sya ng mga tao, kumbaga pag may nakilala sya na members ng bloggers talagang kinikilala nya, bihira kasing may artista na nakaka alala or nakaka recognize sa mga kagaya naming mga bloggers, he may not know my name pero he says hi whenever I see him sa outside showbiz events. And Liza naman, palaging may “po” makipag-usap, hindi mo masasabing pinilit lang kasi you can’t do that unless innate talaga sa isang tao ang pag galang, hindi sya napa practice overnight right? Super humble ni Liza and Quen and I hope hindi sila kainin ng systema ng showbiz.

5)      Mature sila sa mga eksena nila, to think Liza is only 17 but she doesn’t think na kailangan tweetums sya dahil nga 17 lang sya, she is currently being tagged as parang Bea Alonzo of her generation, of course walang papalit kay Bea pero parang ganun ang dating ni Liza and syempre this is the start of building her own career as an actress. Syempre Quen has been loved by so many and never din naman syang nagpa tweetums, he was just being true to himself. And both are super thankful, hindi sila nakakalimot mag thank you palagi and magpakatotoo sa harap at likod ng camera.

Congratulations to the whole team of Just The Way You Are and of course Direk Theodore Boborol, such a great story teller, all of these good scenes were brought to life because of you.
I know you might not be fully convinced that watching this movie will be worth your time and money, but give it a try, I assure you that you’ll come out of the cinema in a good mood and maybe so in love. Tag your friends, family, jowa and asawa, iba talaga ang LizQuen kaya sa kanila ako eh (wink)

This is the night we celebrate hiyawan festival. This made me think, may choreography ba na naganap last night, in terms of cheering, shouting  giggling and the likes? Paano? Walang tigil ang hiyawan mga mare, parang o first batch muna tili tili tili! Okay mapapagod na, batch 2 on the right side it's your turn and eeeee tili pa more and it goes on, and that for me is music, I maybe a blogger but I am a fan too and as of to date this is one of the most screams I heard from the Premiere nights I've attended.

It seems the LizQuean tandem is really making its way up, talk about pretty face of Liza Soberano and handsome Enrique Gil, sino bang di mag titili when you see them diba? Ooopsie no this is not yet the movie review, this is for those na hindi nakapunta and nakapunta as well, your support for LizQuen is unbelievable. Watch at sabihin nyo sakin saan nyo kinuha ang energy nyo?! (Palakpakan!)

BTW abangers din kayo ng movie review ko, don't be afraid walang spoilers yun :-)

Here's another one from the inside of the Cinema 7

Sharing the stage with Daniel are Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, Kyla, Nyoy Volante, Edgar Allan Guzman, Morissette, KZ Tandingan, and boyband Harana, composed of Joseph Marco, Michael Pangilinan, Bryan Santos, and Marlo Mortel.

Why Team Amiga #TeamAmiga and Thirsty Titas of Manila #ThirstyTitasOfManila went viral.

A live tweet has gone viral on facebook from a conversation someone heard at a coffee shop, feels like an 80's kinda conversation, here it goes.

Twitter handle owner @ForEllice cleared that all other names were changed except for Raquel because the joke on one of the conversations won't work if she did.

Yes! Move over K-pop because another Korean invasion is about to happen. Korea's number one Pizza chain is now here in the Metro and that is Mr. Pizza!

Mr. Pizza is strategically located at Greenbelt in Makati and houses a lot of other Pizza flavors. Pizza need not be boring now since their flavors are different from what is usually offered. What I loved about their Pizza's is that their pizza dough is hand kneaded and not too salty. You can also customize their filling and mix and match some toppings as to your desire. This Pizza restaurant is a must place to visit over and over again to be able to try their array of flavors. They also have othe side dishes that we could enjoy and specifically loving Miss Chicken, a bit sweet chicken wings in a basket, and because there is a Miss of course the Mister Chicken is also there, this time it is flavored in a spicy kick kind of way but still very delectable to the palette.

So for all you Pizza lovers out there, Mr. Pizza is the place to be and surely you'll want to come back for more and oh price range is also very affordable so no need to
worry, visit them soonest okay!
