Nelly Furtado and Gym Class Heroes in Manila

August 16, Thursday. Gym Class Heroes and Nelly Furtado invaded the Smart Araneta Coliseum.



Gym Class Heroes had fans singing with their songs and dancing to their popular hits like Billionaire which made everyone be up on their feet. We came in a bit late and they were already performing, surprisingly people were up and enjoying every performane they did and so we joined the crowd waving our hands, clapping and cheering, that was fun! My fave was when they did Stereo

And then the break, from there i know they were getting ready for Nelly and it got me so excited I didn't even want to go to the restroom so as not to miss her entrance. I was with blogger friends rovi, corrine and helen and we were waiting for ria and krystle and reserving their seats since more and more people were already piling up for the big event of the night. Some were already complaining that since they were late other people just grabbed their spots oh well, even so we said sorry we can't give them the seats of our friends aaaaw. And just about the right time our girlies showed up.

Boom there goes Nelly Furtado up on stage Man Eater and we were up just like that jumping and dancing and singing boy did we miss this gal. Song after song we joined Nelly and cheered for her. This was so unforgettable recalling her songs and feeling it and when she sang Try, Smart Araneta was silent in awe and inspired. Then came her cue for everyone to dance and yeah we did and then a stop and i was like no she can't leave us hanging in my most hyper condition so we all screamed for more! more! more! and then the stage lit up and again we were dancing and singing till the end of the show "if you see us in the club you'll be acting real nice, if you see us on the floor you'll be watching all night... give it to me give it to me" and that to me was an awesome night. Good job Nelly and Gym Class Heroes.

Smart Araneta really rocks! I still think this is one of the best places for concerts and shows, I remembered when I was young and watch replays of concerts on tv, artists would always greet everyone "Good evening Araneta" that for me was an indication that this place was something to look forward to. Thank you Smart Araneta for this wonderful experience and looking forward for more. :-)
